Our operators run seven stitch types on our own floor in Lahore. Each one does a different job in a garment.

The seven stitch types

  • Lockstitch for main seams and topstitching on woven garments.
  • Four thread overlock for seams on knitted fabrics that need to stretch.
  • Five thread overlock (safety stitch) for strong seams on heavier woven garments such as workwear.
  • Flatlock for flat, smooth seams on sportswear worn close to the skin.
  • Double needle for hems and parallel topstitching, for strength and a clean finish.
  • Kansai for multi needle work such as waistbands and elastic.
  • Zigzag for stretch areas and attaching elastic.

Matched to the garment

Cycling tights and a canvas coverall ask for very different seams. Pattern makers prepare production patterns, cutters work to them precisely, and operators sew each seam with the stitch it needs.

Every order starts with a sample, so you see and approve the seams before bulk production begins.
